2010 Program Resources

For students who have applied and received their acceptance to the 2010 Massachusetts Boys State Program, this page will provide you with news and information throughout the Spring in preparation for the program. You should check back periodically. You should also check with the Boys State Messageboard, where notices and useful information will be posted and discussed.

We are fully aware that you can quickly Google the answers to some of the questions.  Please don’t.   If you don’t know the answer to a certain question, just leave that question blank.   Remember, it’s anonymous.

By registering, you will have access to the Boys State Messageboard, where notices will be posted throughout the Spring. During the week of Boys State, this will also provide you with access to the blog of daily activities and results.
Learn About the Boys State Court System Review the Practice Bar Exam Questions

Massachusetts Boys State has a working court system.  Misdemeanor offenses will be cited and prosecuted in the court system.  If you wish to practice as an attorney in the Boys State courts, or if you think you may find yourself prosecuted for some  offense, you may wish to review the Boys State Rules of Court.

In order to practice in the Boys State Court system, you must be a bar-admitted attorney.  In 2009, 126 individuals chose to take the Boys State Bar Exam.  70 people received a passing score of 15 out of 25 questions.  Only four scored above 20.  There were no perfect scores.  Click here for five of the questions from the 2009 Bar Exam.
