WEDNESDAY, June 15, 2011 INAUGURATION DAY

6:30 am • REVEILLE

7:00 – 7:45 am • BREAKFAST. 7:00 – Second Platoon (Colors: First Platoon); 7:15 – Third Platoon; 7:30 – First Platoon.

7:00- Mayors & Moderators meet with Mr. DiCara in the Cleary Faculty / Staff  Dining Room.  Election Officials should pick-up ballots.


8:00 am • STATEWIDE ELECTIONS. State elections will be conducted in Municipal Meeting Rooms.


8:15 – 9:00 pm • MUNICIPAL MEETINGS. Each city and town will continue with the budgeting process.


9:15 – 10:15 am • ELECTIVES. LAW – Hemingway Theater, GOV – Roche Dining Commons Room A, ECON – Hill Lecture Hall


10:30 – 11:15 am • GENERAL EDUCATION. Ames Center.  Mr. Brady, Executive Director for Higher Education Relations, The College Board.  Topic: Getting Into College and Paying For It.


11:30 am – 12:20 pm • LUNCH. 11:30 – Third Platoon; 11:45 – First Platoon; 12:00 – Second Platoon.

11:30 – Constitutional Officers will have lunch with Mr. DiCara and Mr. Smith in the Cleary Faculty / Staff Dining Room.


12:30 – 1:30 pm • MINI-COURSES. House to D-019 and Senate to D-020.  Constitutional officers will address the legislature and then report to D-021.  The Boys’ State District Court will be in session.


1:30 – 4:00 pm • RECREATION PERIOD


5:00 – 5:50 pm • DINNER. 5:00 – First Platoon (Colors: Third Platoon); 5:15 – Second Platoon; 5:30 – Third Platoon.


6:30 – 7:00 pm • MUNICIPAL MEETINGS. Adoption of municipal budgets.  Work on municipal map.  Clerk will finalize the budget. Final resolution of municipal scenarios and issues.  Form L should be completed and handed in to Mr. DiCara on Friday.


7:15 pm • PRE-INAUGURATION. The Constitutional Officers-Elect report to the Cleary Faculty / Staff Dining Room.  The Band should report to the Roche Dining Commons Rooms A.  All others should return to dormitories and prepare for the inauguration.  Coats, ties required dress.


7:30 – 9:30 pm • INAUGURATION. Roche Dining Commons Room A.  Oath of Office will be administered to the Constitutional Officers by [INSERT].  Each officer will speak briefly.


10:30 pm • LIGHTS OUT
